What is Overhang Party ?
We are Overhang Party.

These seven statements are neither wonders nor jokes.
Our manifestoes as a Rock Band.
We have nothing to say other than these.
All you need is just listen to our music.

We climb the mountain.

It exists in nowhere but everywhere simultaneously,
sometimes it is visible and invisible to our eyes.
We climb the only holy mountain of the universe that
rises high on deep bottom of all of our spirits.

We search for the Layline.

Shining sun scatters colors on the snow
field water course way is lightened
and your blood flows into this

We are the night

Black laughter
You dance naked losing yourself
far is closeand close is far
here you wander silence covers everything
Dream scream with each other

We are the day

Urge to kill wakes up in the sunlight in the summer
On the scent soil offer
your blood and look up into the blue sky
so far and until you faint

We are the mirror

Scattered mirrors on the road
There's something reflected
The wave of crowd is the missing your part
All is exchanged with yourself

We go toward the origin

shapeless ocean, to the noisy bottom of senseless.
The place where ourconscious frictions go between.
There may you hear prayer
and course standout in the bang noise.

We are ...

And God created the world in six days
and settled the seventh day as a Sabbath,
which form mystery circulation.
Nothingness which is rich
and bleeds all creation.
That is the blank you have to fill in.
We need you to achieve our Overhang Party.

Formed Jarnuary 1991.
Original members are Rinji Fukuoka, Kouji Nishino and Iwao Yamazaki.
Before 1st live performance, Nishino with drew for a moment
and Yuske Nishimura joined for stage as a bass guitar.
These three performed untill November.
After Nishimura disappeared Fukuoka and Yamazaki recorded improvisation many times untill February 1992,when Nishino come back.
These recordings were released as 1st album with new recordings by October 1992.
This Original trio losted until the live performance at Show Boat February 1995.
Album "2" and "3" during this period.
Recordings of 1992 and 1993 are included at PSF compilation "Tokyo Flashback2" "Tokyo Flashback3".
Yamanouchi(guitar) and Suzuki(bass) joined April 1995.
After several live shows, Suzuki withdrew.
Overhang Party performed as a trio without a bass player offer that.
Recorded album "4" from August 1996 to September 1997. Released June 1998.
Morita(Keyboard) joined November 1998.
US tour 14 performances from September to October 1999.
Yamanouchi ceased April 2000.
Invited psychedelic R&R band "Major Stars" from Boston to start domestic tour August 2000 and had a success with them.
released 5th "Otherside of" 2000.
Yamanouchi came back and Sachiko joined 2002.
PSF compilation "Tokyo Flashback5" 2005.
Yamazaki and Ymanochi withdrew 2006. Akiyama(dr) and Suzuki Junzo(guitar) joined.
released 6th "Live Before and After 2004-2006", DVD"Live at U.F.O.CLUB May 20, 2006".
EUROPE tour from October to November 2006.
Akiyama withdrew 2007, Morohashi Shigeki joined.
Sachiko and Suzuki Junzo withdrew.
OVERHANG PARTY is over 20 December 2007.
OVERHANG PARTY changes 'Majutsu no Niwa'.

2001年の夏に録音した「狼、蠍、大地の牙」を収録。室蘭に有る鳴り砂の浜辺に交錯する先住民と、強制連行の果て虐殺された百数十人の中国人達、幻と消えたレインボー作戦のコマンド中只一人の自殺者である斉藤和、そして江戸アケミに捧げるレクイエム。
